Position: Compliance Engineer / Minor Works Team

Overview:
As a Compliance Engineer serving clients across the Liverpool City Region, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and functionality of various facilities. Your role will encompass a range of compliance-related tasks, including water temperature checks, general maintenance, and assisting the rest of the team in planned preventative maintenance activities.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular water temperature checks at client sites across the Liverpool City Region.
- Ensure that water temperature complies with regulatory standards and promptly address any deviations.
- Perform plumbing repairs, electrical fixes, and general building maintenance as required.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and complete tasks efficiently to minimise disruption.
Compliance Checks:
- Carry out compliance checks, including fire door checks, & emergency lighting tests to ensure adherence to safety regulations and standards.
- Maintain accurate records of compliance inspections and take appropriate action to rectify any identified issues.
Assisting in Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM):
- Support planned preventative maintenance activities, such as filter cleaning and equipment inspections.
- Work closely with the maintenance team to ensure all PPM tasks are completed on schedule and to a high standard.
- Proactively identify maintenance needs and address them promptly to maintain the appearance and functionality of facilities.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within a facilities management or compliance environment.
- Strong understanding of Water Hygiene
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance standards.
- Excellent practical skills with the ability to perform a variety of maintenance tasks.
- Proficient in using relevant tools and equipment safely.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
- Flexibility to travel between client sites across the Northwest.
- Valid driver’s license.

- £12.00-13.50 / Hr Depending on experience
