    In order to work consistently and to agreed standards, we have created a series of policies as follows:

    Environmental Policy

    We understand the environmental implications of our activities and will ensure that all operations are carried out in order to achieve a high standard of environmental, health and safety care. You can learn more about our full Environmental Policy here.

    Quality Policy

    This policy is used as the framework for setting our Quality Objectives and as such we are committed to both satisfying all applicable quality requirements, and continually improving our quality management system. You can read the full policy here.

    Health and Safety Policy

    Our policy and arrangements for workplace health and safety are designed to help us to comply with our legal, moral and economic obligations to ensure the health, safety and welfare of our operatives and others who may be affected by our work activities. You can read the full policy here.

    Alcohol and Illicit Drugs Policy

    Any employee with alcohol or illicit drug-related problems is encouraged to seek help under this policy. If any employee is concerned that their drinking or illicit drug use is causing problems and feel they need help, they are advised to approach their own GP. You can read the full policy here.

    Lone Working Policy

    Kimpton acknowledges its responsibility to protect the health and safety of employees including lone workers as such the company will seek to reduce risks to employees by minimising lone work. You can read the full policy here.

    Corporate and Social Responsibility

    Here at Kimpton Energy Solutions, we have believed in living up to our corporate and social responsibility since the business was formed in 1963. We believe we should be a force for good and care about our customers, our team and the area in which we live and work.     Equality and Diversity Policy

    When we make decisions, the Equality Act 2010 gives us a duty to take into account the need to: eliminate discrimination, harassment and victimization; advance equality of opportunity; and foster good relations. This covers, age, disability, gender reassignment, marital or civil partnership status, pregnancy and motherhood, race (including ethnic or national origin, colour and nationality), religion or belief (including lack of belief), sex and sexual orientation.     Migrant Workers Policy

    All migrant workers employed by us will have the basic ability to read, write and speak English, which will enable them to communicate effectively and safely on site. They will be expected to demonstrate the relevant basic competency to undertake their work, e.g. hold a CSCS or equivalent, which is applicable within the UK. You can read the full policy here.

    Health Surveillance Policy

    We recognise that health surveillance requires systematic, regular checks on workers to identify early signs of ill-health, and subsequent action on any adverse findings to ensure their health. You can read the full policy here.

    Modern Slavery Policy

    We have a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and we are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business dealings and relationships and to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure modern slavery is not taking place anywhere in our own business or in any of our supply chains.     Anti-bribery Policy

    Bribery of any kind is strictly prohibited. Under no circumstances should any provision be made, money set aside or accounts created for the purposes of facilitating the payment or receipt of a bribe. You can learn more about our full Anti-bribery Policy here.

    Sustainability Policy

    Charter for Suppliers and Subcontractors

    Our aim is to create long-term sustainable, mutually beneficial partnerships with all parties within our supply chain, to ensure we can continue to deliver on our organisational values.

    This charter applies equally to our direct suppliers and sub-contractors as it does to their own respective suppliers, sub-contractors, and any other business within their own supply chain. You can read the full Charter here.

    Whistleblowing Disclosure Policy

    Employees may, in properly carrying out their duties, have access to, or come into contact with, information of a confidential nature.  Their terms and conditions provide that except in the proper performance of their duties, Employees are forbidden from disclosing or making use of, in any form whatsoever, such confidential information.  However, the law allows Employees to make a ‘protected disclosure’ of certain information.  In order to be ‘protected’, a disclosure must relate to a specific subject matter, be in the public interest, and the disclosure must also be made in an appropriate way.     Child Labour Policy

    Our Child Labour Policy has been established in order to make our position clear to suppliers and their co-workers, as well as any other parties. The requirements in this code of conduct are mandatory to all suppliers and their sub-contractors.

    Kimpton Ltd acknowledges the fact that child labour occurs in many countries, However, Kimpton Ltd does not accept child labour and works actively against it. The complexity of the child labour issue requires a consistent, long-term effort to create sustainable and broad-based solutions in order to reach our goal; that no products delivered to Kimpton Ltd are produced by child labour.     Anti-Tax Evasion Policy

    In the light of Criminal Finances Act 2017, Kimpton Ltd has adopted a statement of our corporate value on anti-facilitation of tax evasion. It is our policy to conduct all of our business dealings in an honest and ethical manner.     Training and Development Policy

    At Kimpton Ltd. we understand that our most valuable resource are our staff. Without well trained and motivated team members we will not succeed in living our values (FIT) and delivering our purpose to ‘Create the Sustainable Building Environments of Tomorrow’.
