Since 1963, Kimpton have specialised in the design and installation of commercial air conditioning systems in Liverpool, Wirral and North Wales.
If you’re considering the installation of Air Conditioning, here are three reasons to choose Kimpton:
Every year we see a pre-summer rush for air conditioning when parts, plant and teams to install the systems can all become scarce at the same time. Whether you work in an office, factory or school, keeping your employees cool during the warmer months is essential.
Here are six reasons to choose Kimpton for air conditioning.
At Kimpton, we have more than 60 years of experience in the industry and air conditioning installation is in our blood. We have worked hard to develop and retain a reputation for consistently delivering quality. It’s important to choose someone who knows what they’re talking about when investing in air conditioning. We have a wealth of knowledge and can give advice on the best solution for your business.
We work with the biggest and best manufacturers in the world and have close partnerships with Mitsubishi, Daikin and others. Because of these partnerships, we can offer longer warranties than many and ensure that we will give you the best system to exactly suit your requirements, whatever the budget.
R22 Gas regulations changed and any older systems that use R22 almost certainly need to be replaced. The R22 refrigerant used in such systems before 2003 has ozone-depleting potential and was banned from 1 January 2015.
In practice, what this means for you now is that if your system breaks down or needs a service, it will need to be replaced because you won’t be able to get spare parts and you can no longer recharge your system using R22 refrigerant.
You can choose to do nothing and hope the system doesn’t break or take the step now when you are in control and upgrade to a newer, more energy efficient system. We will explain your options and what they really mean.
With our many years installing air conditioning systems, as you can imagine we have designed and installed some of the very biggest systems for some huge organisations as well as smaller single unit systems for offices or small factory units. Each of these takes a different approach and requires a level of experience to ensure it is correctly specified.
As we wrote in the history of Air Conditioning piece here,
“Bigger isn’t always better, but newer invariably is
In the same way that we don’t use a sledgehammer to crack a nut, it’s important to specify an air conditioning system that is appropriate for the space it’s trying to cool. Too big and it will always run inefficiently and too small and it will never quite maintain the desired temperature. A smaller unit that’s been appropriately specified and not being over-stretched, will use less energy and work at peak operating efficiency.
And efficiency is everything.”
Kimpton understand that all our customers are different. That’s why we will cater the project around their needs, from the initial concept and design stage right through to installation and aftercare. We can cater for all size spaces, whether you need simple one split cooling systems for individual rooms or multi VRF systems for bigger spaces.
We don’t have a one size (or system) fits all policy and we’ll work with you to make sure that what you need is what you get.
One of the most important things to us is to ensure that not only do our systems comply with regulations but also help when it comes to energy efficiency. Our air conditioning installation services have been designed to reduce electrical consumption, operating costs and carbon emissions. We can also send out an energy assessor to your location to look at your current system and highlight any energy improvements. This means that you can ensure you are being as energy efficient as possible!
We have written a guide with five quick wins to decarbonise your business and another about how to improve your commercial EPC Rating.
