Kimpton has joined 23 other local businesses as a founding member of the new Knowsley Wellbeing & Nature Alliance, a year-long initiative supporting community wellbeing and environmental activity at Bowring Park & Golf Course.
The Alliance brings together businesses committed to investing collectively in structured, measurable activity delivered by grow CIC.
Over the next 12 months, the programme will fund community gardening, guided wellbeing walks and nature-based engagement designed to increase physical activity, strengthen community connection and improve access to green space.
Knowsley remains one of the most economically challenged boroughs in England, with persistent health inequalities and lower-than-average physical activity levels.
Research shows that well-managed green spaces can significantly improve mental health, reduce isolation and support healthier lifestyles – particularly in areas facing deprivation.
We’re proud to be part of a collective effort that is investing directly into Bowring Park and the wellbeing of local residents.
