Last week we joined Gill Roberts and Jaime Stanton from Morgan Sindall Construction for their annual volunteering day at Cash for Kids Liverpool & North Wales.
Mission Christmas is Cash for Kid’s campaign dedicated to making sure children living in poverty wake up to gifts on Christmas morning, and is now one of the largest gift appeals in the UK!
They work with front-line organisations like social services, schools and grassroots community organisations who directly engage with local children and young people. Supporters donate gifts which are then packed by volunteers before being collected.
We helped the team pack gifts for over 1,800 children in the Liverpool City Region, including toys and essential items, before they ran out. They were particularly struggling for the applications for older children.
With over 30,000 applications so far in Liverpool, they need as much support as possible. If you are able to donate, you can find all of the information you need here!
