The Charles Thompson Mission in Birkenhead, has been tirelessly serving the community since 1892. Dedicated to alleviating poverty, the mission runs a food bank that ensures individuals and families have access to nutritious meals. They also operate a day centre, offering shelter, meals, and support to the homeless.
The mission also has an educational and training programme that aims to equip individuals with skills to secure employment and break the cycle of poverty. They also organise social events to combat isolation and foster a sense of belonging.
The Kimpton team are pleased to support them, and we’ve done this by donating food to their food bank and delivering food parcels to members of the community that the Mission work with.
