Matt joins the Kimpton Contracts team having completed a three year level four apprenticeship in Project management and Building Services with Unilever. Matt, 21 from Upton is looking forward to the challenges that his new role presents.
“When I met the team at Kimpton I felt like they wanted to buy into me as much as I did them. I’m here to learn, progress and become a central part of this team. I’ve found that throughout my apprenticeship, the more I learnt, the more I realised I don’t know and I’m very keen to learn.
During the interview process, I met quite a few of the senior engineers who had joined as apprentices. They have progressed to senior positions within the company, and that’s very much what I’m looking for.
Outside of work, Matt is a very keen mountain biker, skateboarder and photographer. Injuries doing the former two, now mean he spends more time doing the latter. You can see some of his photography work on his Instagram account @Mattclarephoto here.
