It’s been a very busy few months for the FM and Maintenance teams at Kimpton, onboarding new clients across the Liverpool City Region and Northwest.
FM is a strong growth area for us as we are showing that our locally-based team is better able to deliver great day to day service than many much larger national providers.
Kimpton have always focussed on delivering a best in class service in our local region for our Maintenance and FM offer. Of our 100+ staff, over 90% are based within the Liverpool City Region, so in an emergency we can get our engineers to our customer’s within two hours, and often even less.
Recent contract awards include clients from a range of different sectors:
Mann Island is an architecturally spectacular sight overlooking the historic Albert Dock and River Mersey. Standing boldly alongside the waterfront’s Three Graces, Mann Island embodies contemporary Liverpool with 376 deluxe one, two and three-bedroom apartments.
Our contract is for full Facilities Management and the team have already been working on projects from door access controls to window cleaning.
The Morrisons Manufacturing site in Winsford is a scrupulously clean and tidy meat packaging operation that produces 1.4 million packs, or over 650 tonnes of beef, pork and lamb products every week. Food Manufacturing is one of the largest private-sector employers in Liverpool City Region and we’ve been servicing clients in the sector for over 50 years.
The Kimpton team are working on the hot water supply, heating and boosted cold water, all of which serve the kitchens, toilets, showers and the wash down for the production lines.
Across the north west, Pall Mall operate four clinics and a hospital and offer medical services, cosmetic surgery as well as scans and radiology. They are owned and led by doctors and aim to deliver the highest levels of professional and medical care, outside of the NHS.
This is another Hard FM contract, which covers all of the building fabric. The Kimpton FM team are looking after a diverse range of systems from all of the controls, HVAC, CCTV, alarms to door controls.
Our role here is to maintain the Air Conditioning and Ventilation in this fabulously pink and glitzy hospitality venue in Liverpool, the ultimate destination for hen parties with fabulous Drag Queens belting out Pop Queen classics.
Liverpool’s vibrant night-time economy overtook London’s last year in terms of transactions and our hospitality sector continues to buck the national trend with hotel occupancy at 81.3%.
