We’re proud to announce that Sci-Tech Daresbury innovation campus has appointed Kimpton to provide management and maintenance of its heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems for a second time.
The HVAC planned preventative maintenance (PPM) contract involves ongoing responsibility for management of a large and varied HVAC asset base of more than 450 pieces of plant, and was awarded following a competitive tender process.
Kimpton already has its Turnkey Division team permanently based on site at the Cheshire facility delivering a range of construction and fit out projects and this is the second consecutive time it has been awarded the PPM contract since 2020.
Sci-Tech Daresbury, part of UK Research and Innovation (UKRI), is one of the UK’s leading national science and innovation campuses, home to more than 150 businesses. The site supports world-class research in areas such as accelerator science, advanced engineering, computational modelling, data science, and emerging technologies.
The Sci-Tech Daresbury estate comprises a diverse portfolio of laboratories, specialist facilities, offices, and innovation spaces across a large campus comprising 23 individual buildings.
Its HVAC systems play a pivotal role in supporting mission-critical spaces where environmental control, reliability, and compliance are essential.
