Securing Two HVAC Maintenance Contracts at Wrexham University

We’re delighted to have secured two separate HVAC maintenance contracts with Wrexham University.

Following a competitive tender process, Kimpton’s Service & FM Division has been appointed to maintain the University’s heating plant and, under a separate contract, its air conditioning and ventilation plant.

The awards build on our decades of working in North Wales. Over the years, we’ve delivered work across the region for organisations including Airbus, RAF Valley, Iceland, Tata Steel, student accommodation developments for Bangor University as well as projects in schools and leisure centres across North Wales.

We’ve also delivered two early UK applications of renewable technology in North Wales: the UK’s first marine source heat pump for the National Trust at Plas Newydd on Anglesey, along with one of the UK’s first transpired solar collectors at Tata Steel’s Shotton site.

That regional experience is supported by a growing higher and further education portfolio. We already work with LIPA, the University of Chester, Liverpool Hope University, Manchester Metropolitan University, Liverpool John Moores University and the University of Liverpool, and maintain large multi-campus estates for St Helens College and The City of Liverpool College.

Both contracts will be delivered by our service engineers based locally in North Wales and the Wirral. We’re looking forward to building a long-term relationship with the Wrexham University Estates team in the years ahead.
