We are delighted to have been appointed by Kier Group to support their work at Wythenshawe Culture Hub.
Kimpton will design & deliver the £2.6m MEP services package for the building, which will ultimately include space for food and drink and a mix of flexible community and studio spaces for workshops, exhibitions, classes or community events.
It will also feature a brand-new 40-seater cinema room and a new 200-seater performance space for a diverse range of dance, drama, music or modern art showcases.
Systems include heating, ventilation, air conditioning, smoke extraction, BMS, internal and external lighting, small power, fire alarm, access control and public address systems.
The project is part of a wider £500m regeneration scheme, led by Muse alongside Manchester City Council, which aims to deliver a thriving, inclusive Wythenshawe town centre that delivers the needs of the community now, and for future generations.
We hope to start on site later this year and achieve completion in 2027, and look forward to working with Kier once again.
